Here is a step-to-step guide for reference to apply gel polish.

1. Trim and file the nails
2. Cuticle softening
3. Buff the surface of each nail with Melodysusie nail buffer
4. Cleanse the nails with the MelodySusie wipe tools
5. Apply the first code of MelodySusie color polish (3-in-1 function)
6. Cure the polish in the LED lamp (30, 60 or 120 seconds).
7. Apply a second coat of MelodySusie color polish.
8. Cure the polish in the LED lamp.
9. Apply the top coat.

Three Super Affordable UV Lamps for Gel Manicure

Welcome to MelodySusie beauty family! Today we would to recommend three cute great quality but super affordable UV lamps for curing gel polishes.Before that, let's go through some questions: 

When do I need to use a UV lamp?
If you want to paint nails with Shellac or Gel Polish, you need a UV lamp to cure the top coat, color coats, base coat or any UV gel nail polish. Otherwise the Shellac or Gel Polish won't dry.

How long should I cure for my gel nails?
Curing Times for Shellac Using a 36W UV Lamp
Base Coat: 10 seconds
Color Coats: 120 seconds
Top Coat: 120 seconds

What to consider when buying a UV lamp?

• Material: Good quality lamps are typically made of ABS which are not easily shrank or deformed instead of PP. 
• Wattage:To dry Shellac or Gel Polish, I recommend 36watts or higher.
• Sizes: There are many sizes for options, from cute 1-finger lamps, up to larger lamps that fit two hands at once. I recommend a UV lamp that fits one full hand.
• Timer Setting: With a built-in timer, you'll get the right amount of time for beautiful shinny nails.
• Removal Slide Tray: It's a nice feature to have, as the bulbs in a UV lamp need to be replaced periodically. This feature will make you change and check your bulbs more easily.
• Warranty:Check whether the seller offers a warranty or return of the lamp before purchasing.
