Amazon has officially announced that this year’s prime day is July 11^th. It starts at 9 p.m. Eastern time on July 10^thand lasts until 3 a.m. on July 12^th.

Started in 2015, Amazon Prime Day offers special deals in the middle of the summer. Amazon Prime Day 2016 led to the company’s biggest day ever. This year is expected to be even better.

To get the most savings on the hottest products of Prime Day, here are 7 key things you should do:

1: Sign Up for Prime Amazon (If you haven’t already).

Amazon Prime Day is only open to members of the Prime membership program, so if you’re not a Prime member yet, you should definitely test out their 30-day free trial to take advantage of this awesome sales day. Prime Membership is normally $99-a-year (or $10.99 a month) and it includes a video streaming service similar to Netflix.

2: Set a Calendar reminder and shop early

While the official Prime Day is July 11^th, the event will last for 30 hours in total. Set some reminder alarms on your phone so you won’t miss out on any of the action. Here are the MelodySusie sale dates and times to schedule. 

3: Research deals before it begins

5: Turn On 1-Click Ordering

1-Click ordering lets Prime members make super-fast purchases. When this feature is turned on, you can click the buy button once and the item is automatically charged and shipped based on the payment method and address in your Amazon account. This will be extremely useful during Prime Day to make sure buy what you want before stock runs out.

6: Keep an Eye on Lightning Deals.

Amazon offers a variety of good deals throughout the event, but occasionally a lightning deal will occur. These special sales will not last for the whole Prime day, but only be live for a little while and can come as fast as every five minutes, so make sure to keep your eyes open for them.

7: Don’t Hesitate.

A huge number of shoppers will also be taking advantage of Amazon Prime Day this year, so if there’s an item you really want shop as early as it starts. All items are on a first-come, first-served basis.
