MelodySusie Valentine’s Day Nail Design Tutorial

February is the month of love, thanks to the Valentine’s Day. When you’re getting dolled up for your big date (or girl’s night out), don’t forget the details, like your nails.

Nails of Julia doesn’t just wear her heart on her sleeve, she wears it on her nails! Sweet Reverie 2016 Collection by MelodySusie.

We’ve prepared our own quick romantic nail design tutorial for all you gals out there. Try it and let us know what you think!

Trust us, it’s even easier than it looks.J

First, we need the right tools.
-MelodySusie Party Queen 1-Step Gel Nail Polish: We will be using Flaming Red.
-Any white gel polish
-MelodySusie Violetiel Pro24W LED Nail Lamp: We’ll be using the one-touch 30-second timer function.
-MelodySusie 2-in-1 Base/Top Coat: Although all of our gel polishes can be used alone, we’re going to use a top coat as well for extra staying power when we tear open our Valentine’s Day gifts.
-A small nail brush

Part 1: Red
Step 1.  Brush on a layer of Flaming Red cure for 30 seconds under an LED nail lamp. Do this on your index, middle, and ring fingers.

Tip: You can choose to wear protective gloves for extra safety.

Step 2. Draw a few white dots using a nail brush.

Step 3. On another nail, draw a heart shape using white gel.
Tips: You might need a few practice tries to draw a nice heart shape. The good thing is you can wipe off gel polishes using a soft tissue before curing.

Step 4 (optional). Apply a layer of 2-in-1 top coat for long-lasting shine. Cure for 30 seconds.

Part 2: White
Step 1. Brush on a layer of white gel and cure for 30 seconds under an LED nail lamp.

Step 2. Draw another heart using the Flaming Red.

Step 3 (optional). Apply a layer of 2-in-1 top coat. Cure for 30 seconds.

Hooray, you’re done!  Now you have a beautiful, romantic V-Day nail design. With a little practice, you too can bring your beauty salon home!
